Ad Radar Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Ad Radar is a Chrome extension and web service for opening public ad transparency libraries, saving competitor research, and exporting competitor research data.
Data the extension uses
- Current tab URL/domain: used locally when you open the extension to detect the current website and build transparency lookup links.
- Local settings: country code, optional Meta Graph API token, generated device ID, and license key may be saved in Chrome storage so the extension works between sessions.
- License information: license keys are sent to the Ad Radar backend to validate paid access.
- Saved competitor research: paid users may save competitor domains and optional notes to the Ad Radar backend for their license.
Optional Meta API token
If you provide a Meta Graph API access token, it is stored locally in your browser and used only to make Meta API preview requests from the extension. Ad Radar does not sell or share this token.
Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Ad Radar does not store full credit card numbers. The backend stores subscription identifiers, license status, billing plan, and customer email needed to operate paid licenses.
How data is used
- To provide transparency lookup links.
- To validate Pro licenses.
- To save and export competitor domains and notes for paid users.
- To provide customer support and subscription status.
What Ad Radar does not do
- Does not sell user data.
- Does not inject ads.
- Does not collect browsing history for advertising or resale.
- Does not scrape Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or TikTok ad platforms.
- Does not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Third-party services
Ad Radar may interact with public ad transparency websites, Meta Graph API when you provide a token, and Stripe for payments. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms.
